We are excited to be opening our newly renovated tasting room this May. Located in the Shipyard Brewery, at 86 Newbury Street in Portland, Maine, our new tasting room is more than 3 times the size it used to be!
After knocking down some walls and opening up the bar area just beyond our gift store, we are now able to accommodate more craft beer lovers in this 1,700 square foot space.
The tasting room will host a rotating lineup of 14 beers and 6 craft sodas on draft. We will feature our core Shipyard and Sea Dog beers as well as new pilots brews, and our full portfolio of Capt’n Eli’s sodas.
Capt’n Eli’s Soda announces the addition of two new sodas to its premium line: Cream Soda and Black Cherry. These two flavors join Capt’n Eli’s Root Beer, Ginger Beer, Blueberry Pop, Orange Pop, Strawberry Pop and Parrot Punch.

"Augusta — Folks walking along Water Street late in the afternoon of Aug. 13 may have experienced a little draft; but it wasn't the kind that blows through the air and sends a chill up the spine.
Rather, it was the kind that 18-year-old Brandon Bagley was serving from the spigots on the side of his "draft truck," a bright red van parked in front of Downtown Gifts and Crafts at 319 Water St.

But Capt'n Eli's pop, which is sold across the state, comes in seven flavors, and its blueberry variety is one of the best.
