SEA DOG BREWING COMPANY GOLF TOURNAMENT RAISES $28,000 FOR
OPPORTUNITY FARM FOR BOYS AND GIRLS
NEW GLOUCESTER, MAINE - (June 16, 2004) The third annual Sea Dog Brewing Company Golf Invitational was held on June 13 at Spring Meadows golf course in Gray. This tournament raised $28,000 gross revenue for Opportunity Farm for Boys and Girls.
Additional sponsors of this tournament included businesses such as: MaineToday.com, Northeast Laboratory Services, Mechanic Savings Bank, Wright Express, and Curry Printing. The awards ceremony was emceed by Dave Eid, sports director at WGME-13.
Over 175 people attended the tournament, which included a full field of 36 teams and numerous volunteers.
The winning teams were:
1st Place Gross: Northeast Laboratory Services Westbrook
2nd Place Gross: Sturtevant and Ham Insurance Livermore Falls
3rd Place Gross: Samina-Sci Westbrook
1st Place Net: Biskup Construction Windham
2nd Place Net: Tony Ward Team Gray
3rd Place Net: Atlantic Investment Advisors Auburn
Prizes were donated by organizations such as: the Boston Celtics, New England Patriots, The Shipyard Brewing Company, Banknorth, Sugarloaf Inn, Sea Dog Brewing Company, Ourtickets.net, and SkiMaine.
Since 2002, this annual golf tournament has raised over $60,000 for the Farm.

Opportunity Farm for Boys and Girls has been helping Maine youth for nearly 100 years. Its program, which offers early intervention and long-term care, has allowed countless youth to become independent, self-sufficient adults. Without relying on state or federal funds, the Farm has been able to offer financial assistance to the families it serves.
