Shipyard Brewing Co. Hosts Annual Trip to Ringwood Brewery in Hampshire, England

PORTLAND, MAINE (September 1, 2004)

WHAT:
Shipyard concludes its 10 year anniversary by hosting the 7th annual trip to the world-famous Ringwood Brewery, where master brewer Alan Pugsley apprenticed. 

WHEN:
November 4 - 9, 2004

WHY:
Travelers will get a personal tour of Ringwood Brewery and select locations in England. British-born Alan Pugsley, master brewer at Shipyard, apprenticed with Peter Austin, founder of Ringwood Brewery and grandfather of the craft beer movement. Shipyard brews English-inspired ales in the tradition Pugsley learned while at Ringwood and all Shipyard products are hand-crafted using Ringwood yeast.
