1st Annual "Hike the River for a Cure" Benefits Maine Cancer Foundation's Womenıs Cancer Fund: Hosted by Shipyard Brew Haus at Sunday River

BETHEL, MAINE (September 27, 2006)Shipyard Brewing Company announces the 1st Annual Hike the River for a Cure. This spectacular 2 mile hike will be held Saturday, October 28 at 10:00 AM at the Shipyard Brew Haus White Cap Lodge, Sunday River.

This hike benefits the Maine Cancer Foundationıs Womenıs Cancer Fund.

The Maine Cancer Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health and well being of Maine people.

All money raised by Hike the River for a Cure will stay in Maine and go towards scientific research, professional and public education and patient support programs.

Hike the River for a Cure is part of the 1st Annual Pumpkinhead Festival at Shipyard Brew Haus White Cap Lodge, Sunday River.

All registrants receive a Pumpkinhead Festival t-shirt and enjoy a festive BBQ lunch at the Shipyard Brew Haus.

Take a left onto Sunday River Road
Fork left onto Skiway Road
The Shipyard Brew Haus at White Cap Lodge is on White Heat Lane
