PORTLAND, MAINE - (August 25, 2008) - For the first time since it was originally brewed in 1993, Shipyard Brewing Companyıs award-winning Blue Fin Stout is available in 6-packs and distributed nationwide. Until now, this beer has been available on draft, in 22 ounce bottles, and occasionally in 12 ounce bottles in Captainıs Collection, Shipyardıs variety 12-pack.
Blue Finıs packaging has been updated from the traditional image of Shipyardıs trademark ship, to an illustration of a Blue Fin Tuna emerging from the water. This illustration was done by Bruce Hutchinson and the packaging was designed by Chris Hadden.
